2. Remove the Current Bose Headphones Driver
If Bose headphones are not recognized as an audio device on Windows 10, then you need to remove the current Bose headphones driver. To remove the driver, search for “Bose” in your Device Manager and select “Uninstall.”
3. Install the New Bose Headphones Driver
Once the current Bose headphones driver is removed, it’s possible that the issue will be resolved, or it may occur again. You need to install the new Bose headphones driver so that Windows 10 recognizes the device as an audio device.
Bose Headphones Blocked in Windows 10?
If you’re having a problem with Bose headphones being blocked in your Windows 10 device, then you may need to follow our steps below.
1. Restart the Computer or Device
If your device has been connected to the Internet for an extended period of time, then it’s possible that Windows 10 may have cached the device name of the headphones, and changed it to something that looks like “HP Device” or something similar. Restarting the device will force Windows 10 to re-create all of the device names associated with your devices.
If the Bose headphones are unconnected, you can re-pair the Bose headphones to your computer. If they are connected, try to disconnect them. If they are still connected after that, then you need to follow this guide.
