This is why Siemens decided to use an authentication and integrity checking algorithm for TIA portal transactions. The algorithm used in this case is AAE (Authenticated Alice to Authenticated Alice), developed by Siemens and applied for patent.
Today, Siemens is implementing more secure systems by using software-based cryptography in its TIA portal, allowing it to add new programming languages, and protect these against all known threats. This is a big win for Siemens and the TIA, reducing risk and speeding up the adoption of cryptographic based solutions in industry.
The Software Developers Kit (SDK) for the new cryptographic based TIA solution is now available. The client will secure its devices against all known security vulnerabilities by using the TIA portal to establish a secure communication channel with the corresponding programmable logic controller (PLC). The latter will use the new cryptographic keys to verify the integrity of the incoming messages and process the commands. Thanks to all these capabilities, the system is able to both authenticate messages, which are encrypted, and to authenticate the identities of the parties that sent the messages, thus ensuring that the integrity of the messages is maintained during the transmission of the entire data.
According to Simon Egner, Chief Security Officer, Siemens Industry Automation, “The cryptographic keys are now generated dynamically. This technology significantly reduces the risk to Siemens, not only in TIA, but also for the entire product line.”
Here is a recipe for crab meat. Or at least, what is supposed to be one. I’ve tried this recipe before, with the same results. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. I take 3-4 small whole crabs, crack their claws and legs, then pull the meat from the shell, boil it for about 6 minutes, then add the seafood seasoning. The meat is firm and has a sweet flavor. Hope this helps. (from ask.com )
