Groove Monkee Blues contains over 800 beats for blues and blues rock arranged as 8 and 12-bar segments. The library includes 11 full-length songs plus additional intros, fills and endings. The beats are formatted for GM, BFD and EZDrummer. Additional formats such as DFH1, DFH2, DFHS, DFH C&V, Groove Agent and IMAP are available free of charge.
Native Instruments Studio Drummer features samples recorded on premium drum kits. The library focuses on incorporating an acoustic drum kit into your track along with mixing options and a large library of grooves with fills complementing styles including funk, rock, blues, indie and country.
In the bottom of the interface window, you will see a tab called Grooves. Here you can sort and find the perfect groove for your session. The grooves are categorized in 11 different styles including pop, funk, jazz, hard rock, metal, blues & country, indie rock, and others. Selecting one of the styles will bring up a new window of grooves in various tempos and variations.
3. In the Grooves tab , in the list of midi-groove libraries from Platinum Samples, Groove Monkee and Steven Slate Drums Grooves , where there are orange folders with an exclamation mark, click Add Database .
ToonTrack has updated EZDrummer2 so that user libraries (IE. Beatbuddy, Groove Monkee, homegrown) can be searched via Tap to find and midi file drop. The below shows a few user libraries I have loaded when filtered on the Beatbuddy content folder. I dropped a blues clip from the list onto the search box and instant BB matches to go with it. If the BeatBuddy filter is turned off all the other ToonTrack, GrooveMonkee and custom midis will be seen in the match list sorted by best match. This is an awesome enhancement that translates to never needing to go to a folder or file and loading one at a time manually to audition or trying to remember what file names sounds like they could go with fills etc.
Hi Klink, it is v2.1 updated from 2.02 no charge, thanks ToonTrack! I did the update to EZDrummer2 then to the dozen or so midi packs and EZX kits I added on, works wicked pissah. The Libraries are the folder names so if you have a rock collection or whatever in a folder you can filter on or exclude etc.
