I recently reinstalled windows 7 in my pc . Every thing is working properly except the fact that when i switch on the wifi button the computer does not seem to recognise anything Indicating that the drivers need to be installed for it. I donot have my original driver CD neither do i remember the model no. except for what is at the back of my laptop.Please help me figure out my model no. .If possible please let me know the drivers i have to install as well.
Please can someone help? I did a fresh install of windows 7 - 64bit on an HP Pavilion g6 laptop and don't have the system drivers or recovery disc. I now cannot connect to the internet to find the drivers (writing this from another computer) as the network controller does not have a driver, and there is also a problem with the drivers for the display adaptors.
Thank you for your feedback. I have found the model number is g6-1076si and i have found the drivers. However, for the network drivers there are a few and i don't know which one/s to choose. I have tried looking in my device manager the details under properties to try to identify, but it just says driver not installed.
