They also stated that using a modified UEFI bootloader may allow Denuvo to be bypassed, and they plan to investigate this further.[12][13][14][15] In April 2018, Denuvo released a statement that Crysis 3 was cracked using the new method.[16] Crytek, the developer of Crysis 3, then responded to Denuvo's claim, saying that the game was cracked months ago.[17]
