I'm glad you enjoyed the Tournament. I can't say I've seen the film you mentioned, but it does sound like I should see it if I'm going to read the book. I guess it could be read as an oddity sort of thing in the sense that the text is already present in the book, and in the sense that you may be more interested in the text than the film, but of course the film is pretty much the thing that would get you to buy the book. Then again, I can't imagine anyone wanting to read the book in the first place and of course the film does have a certain appeal if you happen to be interested in the film, but I guess not seeing the film would make the book seem even more of an oddity. As to the free download, that's good too, as is the reading group you mention, but I suppose they're not really the same thing. Anyway, as I say, the whole thing could be read as something of an oddity, but if you do read the book, I hope you enjoy it. Carry on.
Actually, the story is available now for free download, and though it's not part of the Everything Ravaged collection, it's a wonderful read that you should enjoy. I'll put the link in here now, and I'll get this thread up to date with the link, too.
Another super-quick review for you guys. This is the single-story anthology Everything Ravaged, Everything Burned, edited by me. I'm thrilled to be a part of this project, and I want to thank FSG for being so generous with their authors, and for bringing out the anthology (which will be available for free on their site www.everythingravaged.com ). This story is the introduction to the anthology, so can be read as a standalone, but I think it's worth reading for the full anthology, which is part of a series of anthologies that FSG is putting out.
If another hacker does this, then they will be able to put any game on the ps3 in a matter of minutes! and that means that Sony will be out of the console market for good. We have seen what happens when sony doesn't support games anymore. Nintendo is turning a profit, now it is time for Sony to do the same, or else they are dead.
I don't see the appeal of owning a Sony PS3, and I don't see the value of the PS3 as an entertainment device. Sony has become one of the most untrustworthy companies in the gaming industry in my eyes. 827ec27edc
